Despite our continuous awareness that smoking tobacco is damaging to our health more than 40 million Americans are cigarette smokers. Smoking cigarettes is known to cause damage to every organ in your body, and smoking-related illnesses are responsible for one out of every five deaths in the United States.

Even though there was a 10 percent decrease in cigarette sales in 2009 that was directly derived from an increase in the federal cigarette tax, it is not only price that is changing the habits of American smokers. Electronic cigarettes, also known as e-cigarettes, have also contributed. The Benefits of Regular Physical Activity

There are many reasons why exercise is beneficial to your life, but most importantly because it enhances your overall health and wellness. If you exercise frequently, it will help improve, maintain or prevent many health conditions and diseases such as obesity, strokes, metabolic syndrome, type two diabetes, depression, insomnia, dealing with some cancers, arthritis and injuries from falls. By exercising regularly, it can assist you in maintaining your current weight or help you lose weight.

The Importance of Water

Have you ever heard the adage that you are what you eat? Well, it may be more appropriate to say that you are what you drink. And whether you realize it or not, water is the main ingredient of everything, including your body.

Water flows through you like a literal fountain of youth, spreading to every part of your body to keep it as healthy as possible.
